Makongo Makongo is the founder and CEO of LexoAfrica Expedition & Safaris, a company dedicated to showcasing Tanzania’s natural wonders and cultural richness. Born in Musoma and now based in Arusha, he built LexoAfrica on three foundational values: professionalism, respect, and guest-centric service.

His leadership reflects a deep commitment to hospitality strategy and workplace advocacy. Every safari experience delivered through LexoAfrica is seamless, safe, and built around the guest’s needs. Makongo combines clarity in communication with warmth and respect, and that tone flows through the entire team.

He studied at a College of Tourism and Hotel Management, where he built extensive knowledge in wildlife management, hospitality operations, and guest services. That academic foundation, combined with years of field experience, allows him to design safari programs and hotel-style services that meet the highest standards while adapting to each guest’s specific requirements.
