Day 1 Arusha National Park

Arusha National Park is located about 35 kilometers from Arusha town and covers an area of 552 square kilometers. It’s renowned for its ecological diversity, featuring montane forests, savannahs, lakes, and the Ngurdoto Crater. The park is home to iconic wildlife such as giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, and black-and-white colobus monkeys, as well as stunning flamingos at the Momella Lakes. On clear days, visitors can enjoy breathtaking views of Mount Kilimanjaro and Mount Meru.

6:00 AM: Start the tour with a briefing and drive to Arusha National Park with packed lunch boxes.

• Explore the park with a morning game drive through diverse landscapes and wildlife viewing.

• Take a guided walking safari to visit the Momella Lakes and enjoy close encounters with nature.

• Pause for lunch at a scenic picnic within the park.

• Optional canoeing or additional game drive in the afternoon.

• 5:30 PM: Depart the park and return to Arusha town.
