Safari Overview

Embark on a remarkable journey through two of Tanzania’s most iconic destinations. This 3-day, 2-night safari is designed to offer the perfect blend of exhilarating wildlife encounters and immersive cultural experiences.

Your adventure begins in Tarangire National Park, known for its ancient baobab trees, large elephant populations, and rich biodiversity. Then, journey to the spectacular Ngorongoro Conservation Area, home to the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater—a sanctuary for a wide variety of wildlife. Along the way, engage with the vibrant traditions of the Maasai people for a deeper connection to Tanzania’s cultural heritage

Day 1: Arrival in Arusha

Upon arrival, you’ll be warmly greeted by a professional guide from LexoAfrica Expeditions and Safaris. You’ll be transferred to your accommodations in Arusha, where a delicious dinner and a relaxing evening await. Rest and recharge for the exciting days ahead.

Day 2: Tarangire National Park & Maasai Village Visit

After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park, spanning 2,850 square kilometers. Known for its dramatic landscapes, the park is home to majestic baobab trees, open plains, and a wide variety of animals including elephants, lions, zebras, giraffes, and over 550 bird species.

Enjoy a scenic picnic lunch within the park, followed by an afternoon of exploration through its diverse ecosystems. Later, visit a local Maasai village for an enriching cultural exchange—learn about their traditions, customs, and way of life.
In the evening, continue to the Ngorongoro area for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater Safari & Departure

After breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site covering 260 square kilometers. This natural wonder boasts a unique ecosystem supporting an impressive variety of wildlife, including black rhinos, lions, flamingos, hippos, and more.

Enjoy a packed lunch at a designated picnic site while taking in the stunning scenery. In the afternoon, conclude your safari with a final game drive before ascending the crater.

You’ll then be transferred to either Arusha Airport or Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) for your departure—or choose to continue your adventure with a seamless transition to Zanzibar. Our team will ensure a smooth and memorable conclusion to your journey.
